Key Information

The Seventh World Power of Bible Prophecy – Anglo-America

Key Verses Daniel 2:41-45; 7:8, 24; Revelation 13:11; 17:10
Time 15th century CE to the present

Learning Point

  • Britain and America have both become strong empires, dominated by their powerful armies, as well as the culture that allows for a democratic structure. Unlike the previous six empires, the Anglo-American power is one that has developed slowly, growing out of the remains of the Roman Empire. It will also be the last empire to exist before God’s Kingdom removes human governments.
  • Britain once controlled places across the whole globe, encouraging the spread of the English language. America grew from a colony and became the place of religious freedom. Both factors have enabled the preaching work to spread around the globe, fulfilling Bible prophecy.
