  • As a form of precipitation, hail is one of the most destructive forms we see, able to destroy some poorly built buildings, as well as cause loss of life. Jehovah used hail to great effect against the Egyptians as one of the ten plagues.

  • When a thunderstorm produces hail, then it is called a hailstorm.

  • Larger hail can fall at over 100 mph.
