Inner Cavea of the Theatre
Learning Point
- The lower cavea, or seating section, was the not as steep as the other caveas. It had the same reduced number of staircases that allowed access to the different levels as the middle cavea, as well as one entrance (paradoses) from the imiddle section to the diazoma, or walkway, that existed at the foot of the cavea.
