- Glass Beach at Fort Bragg in California is a beach that contains a large amounts of “sea glass“, glass that has turned into pebbles. There are two other nearby beaches that contain similar glass, and all have their glass pebbles as a result of the beaches being used as a dump site in early 20th century. The beaches have become regular tourists spots.

- Beach or Sea Glass often has a weather, frosty appearence.
- Sharp edges are knocked off the glass through years of wave motion and the tumbling that the sea causes, much as normal pebbles form.
- It is discouraged to collect the sea glass from Glass Beach, though in other places people collect it for making jewelry.
- There are other similar beaches around the world.
