- Ludwig van Beethoven was a famous German composer and pianist. He was born a long time ago, but his music is still loved today! Even though he became deaf, he continued to write beautiful music. Some of his most famous pieces are his “Fifth Symphony” and “Für Elise.” Beethoven’s music is powerful and emotional, and it has inspired people all over the world. He showed everyone that even when things are difficult, you can still create amazing things.

- Beethoven was super talented at music from a very young age! He started learning piano when he was just a little kid.
- Sadly, Beethoven started losing his hearing when he was still writing music. Eventually, he became completely deaf.
- Even though he couldn’t hear, he kept composing amazing and powerful music that we still love today.
- Beethoven wrote lots of different kinds of music, including symphonies, piano sonatas, and even music for the theater!
- One of his most famous pieces is his “Fifth Symphony,” which starts with a very recognizable “da-da-da-dum!”
- Another famous piece is “Für Elise,” a beautiful and gentle piano tune many kids learn to play.
