- Sennacherib is one of the most famous kings of Assyria because of his attack on the land of Judah and Jerusalem. He was a clever king, who had built large sections of Nineveh, conquered powerful cities, and became an arrogant man. He died at the hands of two of his sons.

Fun Facts
- He named his palace Shanina-la-ishu meaning “Nonesuch” or “Nothing like it“.
- He also built much of the wall system around Nineveh, some of which can be seen today.
- He had titles like King of Assyria, King of Babylon, King of the Four Corners of the World, King of the Universe.
- Sennacherib died about 20 years after his attack on Jerusalam by parricide (killed by his sons), probably at Nineveh.
