  • A rocket requires fuel to it's engine to be able to generate power and thrust to move it into and through space. It also needs to have the means to land again, or at least for part of it to land, safely.

  • When launching you need to have an engine, fuel, along with a separator to enable you to bring the capsule away from the engines, and then a parachute to slow the capsule down.
  • If a rocket is not balanced, it won't fly straight, and can be very difficult to control.
