The volcano is inactive now, but created a <strong>near perfect cinder cone<\/strong>. Cinder cones are formed during eruptions of a <strong>specific type of volcano<\/strong>. They are <strong>loose cinders<\/strong> that <strong>form progressively <\/strong>through the eruption, and towards the end of an eruption, the <strong>lava seeps under <\/strong>the <strong>loose<\/strong>, and form a <strong>very specific circular pattern<\/strong>, as well as <strong>sloping up to 40\u00b0<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>At the top they have a <strong>bowl shaped crater<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The material can be <strong>glassy<\/strong>, and often contains <strong>gas bubbles<\/strong> that are frozen in
