It was part of the <strong>LNER fleet<\/strong> (London and North Eastern Railways), before becoming part of the <strong>British Railways<\/strong> later. It was <strong>saved several times<\/strong> from being sold or abandoned, and is <strong>now on display<\/strong> at the <strong>National Railway Museum<\/strong> in York, <strong>40 years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It has had a <strong>number of colours<\/strong> over the years, with the <strong>deep green colour<\/strong> its most <strong>recognizable <\/strong>one.<\/li>\n<li>It set the <strong>world record<\/strong> for a <strong>non-stop<\/strong> run of a <strong>steam locomotive<\/strong> of <strong>422 miles in Australia in
