Medo-Persia was the power that <strong>freed the Israelites<\/strong>, and allowed them to <strong>rebuild the temple<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In general, their power affected the Israelites <strong>mostly in a positive way<\/strong>. They allowed the Jews to <strong>manage their own affairs<\/strong>, and provided <strong>material support<\/strong> for the <strong>rebuilding of their desolated land and
