That eruption <strong>wiped out the people<\/strong> that lived on the island. <strong>caldera<\/strong>, the <strong>left over remnants<\/strong> of the island before that eruption.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two <\/strong>of the <strong>smaller islands<\/strong> are the result of more <strong>recent volcanic activity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>That volcano is one of the <strong>Decade volcanoes<\/strong> that are being observed because of the <strong>potential devastation<\/strong> of
