class=\"class-box\">\r\n\t<ul>\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>last two<\/strong>&nbsp;Pioneer&nbsp;<strong>missions<\/strong>&nbsp;reached both&nbsp;<strong>Jupiter and Saturn<\/strong>&nbsp;for the first time, while also causing them to reach speeds fast enough to&nbsp;<strong>escape our Solar System<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Pioneer 11<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;could have gone to&nbsp;<strong>Pluto<\/strong>, but they chose to&nbsp;<strong>pass by Titan<\/strong>&nbsp;as they felt it was a more important place to study.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Voyager 1<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;passed Jupiter and Saturn, before being the&nbsp;<strong>first spacecraft<\/strong>&nbsp;to reach&nbsp;<strong>interstellar space<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>2012<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Voyager 2<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;was able to&nbsp;<strong>pass Uranus and Neptune<\/strong>&nbsp;because of a&nbsp;<strong>perfect alignment<\/strong>&nbsp;of the outer planets, becoming the first spacecraft to reach the outer two gas giants.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>New Horizons<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;made history when it reached&nbsp;<strong>Pluto<\/strong>, having passed Jupiter on the way, and then went beyond to&nbsp;<strong>explore a further object<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>Kuiper
