Facts<\/h4>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"class-box\">\r\n\t<ul>\n<li>The fault line was&nbsp;<strong>named after the San Andreas Valley<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>Professor Andrew Lawson<\/strong>&nbsp;who identified the cracks as a fault line.<\/li>\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>land movement<\/strong>&nbsp;each year can be almost&nbsp;<strong>one a half inches<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Some of the&nbsp;<strong>biggest earthquakes in the USA<\/strong>&nbsp;have occured along the fault line, including the&nbsp;<strong>1906 San Francisco Earthquake<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>1906 earthquake in San Francisco<\/strong>&nbsp;destroyed&nbsp;<strong>80% of the city<\/strong>, cost&nbsp;<strong>3,000 lives<\/strong>&nbsp;many of which died as a result of&nbsp;<strong>devastating fires<\/strong>&nbsp;that started after the earthquake.<\/li>\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>Vasquez Rocks<\/strong>&nbsp;in Agua Dulce, California are evidence of the San Andreas
