Formed through <strong>millions of years of sediment deposition<\/strong>, <strong>tectonic uplift<\/strong>, and <strong>water erosion<\/strong>, the valley&#8217;s distinct layers &#8211; <strong>colored red by iron oxide<\/strong> and <strong>dark gray by manganese oxide<\/strong> &#8211; reveal a dramatic geological history.
