Native to the river systems of <strong>India <\/strong>and <strong>Nepal<\/strong>, adult males develop a <strong>strange, bulbous growth on their nose called<\/strong> a &#8220;<strong>ghara<\/strong>&#8221; to <strong>blow bubbles and vocalize<\/strong>. Despite growing <strong>up to 15 feet long<\/strong>, they are <strong>harmless to humans<\/strong>.
