He <strong>sheltered Jeroboam<\/strong> when he fled King Solomon. In 993 BCE, Shishak <strong>invaded<\/strong> <strong>Judah<\/strong>, capturing many cities and reaching <strong>Jerusalem<\/strong>. Though the city was <strong>not destroyed<\/strong>, Shishak <strong>looted all of its treasures<\/strong>.
