Fun Facts

  • The name Velociraptor comes from Latin words meaning “Swift Plunderer”.
  • The “Fighting Dinosaurs” specimen is a Velociraptor and a Protoceratops that look to be locked in battle at the time they died.
  • A Velociraptor fossil has been discovered with quill knobs on it’s arms indicating it had feathers.
