Fun Facts
- The bony bump on its snout may be related to how it made calls or its sense of smell.
- Several of the fossils found so far have been found in places that were covered by seas in the Cretaceous period, but may simply have been animals washed out to sea.
- It is thought to have only walked on two legs, whereas many other iganudontids moved between two and four legs as they needed.
- No thumb spikes have been found, and many paleontologists think that they wouldn’t have had them.
