Learning Point
- Diplodocus was a giant dinosaur with a very long neck and tail, like a super-long whip! It lived a long, long time ago, during the Jurassic period. This gentle giant was a herbivore, which means it ate plants. It used its long neck to reach high into trees for leaves, and its long tail probably helped it balance. Imagine a dinosaur as long as two school buses parked end-to-end!
