- Located in
- Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
- The cave contains many cubic cave pearls and flagged soda straws.
- Cave pearls are formed when dripping water attaches minerals to small grains of sand, that gradullay form in moving water into rock pearls, just like pearls in oysters do.
- Soda straws are formed as water with calcium within drops from a ceiling, forming rings of calciuum at the tip of the developing straw.
- There is still much exploration to be done of Castleguard Cave, with layers of caves underneath to be explored. These have been found by dye-tracing, which indicate the caves existence.
